How far in advance do I need to book private security?
We recommend booking at least 14 days before your desired start date to allow for risk assessment, guard assignment, and specialized training (if required). For last-minute or emergency requests, contact us immediately—our on-call teams can often mobilize within 48 hours.
What’s the difference between armed and unarmed guards?What’s the difference between armed and unarmed guards?
Armed Guards carry licensed sidearms and undergo advanced firearms training. They’re ideal when visible deterrence is essential or when local regulations allow permit-carrying officers.
Unarmed Guards focus on surveillance, de-escalation, and crowd management. They’re perfect for events where a non-threatening presence is preferred—red-carpet occasions, private interviews, or day-time corporate functions.
Can you provide security for out-of-state or out-of-country assignments?
Yes. We have partner networks in several major U.S. cities, and we arrange for licensed, vetted teams wherever you’re traveling. For international assignments, we coordinate with local agencies to ensure compliance with regional regulations.
What liability coverage do you carry?
Energetic Exotics Security holds a $5 million general liability policy, a $2 million professional E&O policy, and additional coverage for automobile and weapons liability (where applicable). Copies of certificates can be provided upon request.
How are your agents vetted?
Every agent passes multi-tiered background screening (criminal, financial, and employment history), plus drug testing and ongoing periodic evaluations. Armed personnel must hold an FDACS License and complete annual firearms re-certification.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
- Cancellation (14+ days prior): Full refund minus a $250 administrative fee.
- Cancellation (7–13 days prior): 50% refund.
- Cancellation (less than 7 days): No refund, but credit may be applied toward future services (valid for 12 months).
- Rescheduling: Free within 14 days of original booking (subject to guard availability). After 14 days, a $150 rescheduling fee applies.
